Conference play begins, some surprises so far, RPI, Union, and SLU not performing as expected. I have to think the National scene is wide open at this point, UConn beats BC last night !

Huge game at the bank tomorrow, pretty sure they stream it FREE in HD also, if I remember correctly from last year.

Pretty sure we're healthy with the exception of Spink, hoping he goes tomorrow night. Last home football game, bundle up.

We know he was ECAC Goalie of the month in October - he was also NCAA HOCKEY NATIONAL PLAYER OF THE MONTH !!

Congrats to Charlie - and the whole team. They all have a hand in those shutouts.

Hope we can get Tylor Spink healthy and get our lines back together. Guys have done a fabulous job so far with the lines all
screwed up. I believe Tylor has a concussion - I think I read somewhere he had concussion problems in juniors also. Hope he
will be OK if that's what it is.

Must be a great locker room right now - guys are standing on the bench and there's tons of high fives after every good shift.
Pretty easy to see they're all rooting for each other and nobody wants to be the one to screw up.

Great time to be a Colgate fan.

Do any posters know if Reid Cashman is an assistant coach at QU? Can't find him by Googling :(

Edit: oh, I would have left it. It was easy to figure out, and great fun.

BTW, I am shocked Cashman never got a shot in the bigs. That guy was one of the smartest, most skilled players I've ever seen.

One player doesn't make a team, and one game doesn't make a season. Last Sat. stung, tonight even worse. The sky isn't falling yet.....let's hope we can get back on track tomorrow night. We gotta play EVERY minute!!!!

That was bad. They looked flat from the start. Not much pressure down low. I'm eager to get Tyler back, but if we are truly a #4 ranked teamwith hope for post-season success, others on offense need to get productive. The only positive from tonight is learning that there is no dominant team in the ECAC. RPI sweeps Union, loses to Harvard.

Coach has to get these guys playing to their potential.

And to add injury to insult, Borkowski got hurt tonight. It looked like a leg injury and was bad enough that he couldn't make it up and out of the offensive zone although play went on for a good minute plus after he was hurt. He could put no pressure at all on his leg. During the stoppage in play he went straight to the locker room not to return. I hope it's not bad but it sure didn't look good . . .

Also, at one point in the third period Coach Vaughan absolutely unloaded on the officials. I don't think he was too happy with tonight's officiating.

Refs were atrocious both ways. The whistle when Finn hadn't covered while the puck was sliding under him into the net, some questionable matching penalties. Been a rough go for the ECAC refs thus far

Not to mention, they're down a linesman for the year, thanks to a check last week. :eek:

One player definitely does not a team make, although I would be very tempted to say otherwise when it comes to Goulakos. What the heck is going on in the league this year?!

Seems like parity may have broken out in the ECAC :eek:

Only saw the last 5 min of the game, but the announcers were babbling on about how dirty we were playing. What do the rest of you think? We're we out of line or was it QU? Did we play a chippy game? Does Spiro sit out the P'ton game b/c of the match penalty at the end? (I would guess not)

P'ton beating Cornell should sound an alarm on our bus heading down the NJ Turnpike today. Should be an interesting game against Ron Fogarty and his "Colgate" crew.

CHS shows 2 minutes for roughing with a 10-minute misconduct. He's eligible.

If anyone is going to Princeton, enjoy "Speed Limit 70" on the 380; only road trip in the ECAC where that's seen.

Just to chime in quickly...the rough stuff behind the play and after the whistle was going both ways last night.
