Great to see Finney boasting a 2.19 GAA and 5-3-1 record, and our team tied for 3rd in SHG with 4. If we could cut down on our PIM from 14+ per game and improve on our 32nd place defense, we could be right up there for a while.

Corkey looks to be a very intelligent, savy player. Looking forward to having his 192 lbs on D next year.

I am a die-hard UMass Hockey Fan. I was very impressed with the Colgate team I think Colgate is a pretty good team. I was very impressed with Colgate's top line of Freshmen Tyson Spink, Tylor Spink, and Kyle Baun. They are all very good hockey players. I was extremely impressed with Colgate's top power play unit with 4 Freshmen Forwards Tyson Spink, Tylor Spink, Kyle Baun, Mike Borkowski, and Sophomore Defenseman Spiro Goulakos. I think Colgate is a better hockey team than some people think and I think they are going to surprise a lot of people in the ECAC in the second half of the season. I think Colgate is going to be very good in a couple of years.

Does Colgate Men's Hockey have a Fan Blog. My grandpa went to Colgate I would like to check it out if Colgate has a blog.

Yes this team has been fun to watch this year and I look forward to seeing them get better in the future. They are playing very well right now and have beat some quality teams already. Would have been nice if they played Miami later in the season when the freshmen had more games under their belt (although Miami is still the better team) Hope to see them do well in 2013.

In our last four games the Powerplay is nine for sixteen with four frosh and a sophomore!!:eek:

Happy New Year! Or as I like to call it, the Year of '13!

While I am excited for a return to the ice, these next two games do have the "trap game" moniker attached to them. Sacred Heart is still looking for that first win of the season, and a loss could derail everything that has gone right for us in the first half of the season.

SH is last in Div-I hockey in team D with 4.82 GAA. Also 59th in PK and 58th in PP. On paper it looks good (for us), but 'Gate still has to come out smoking with no holiday hangover to get the two wins. Concentrate and execute guys!
