Colgate 2010-2011 [Part II]

Re: Colgate 2010-2011 [Part II]

Noticed the other day John McGraw said thanks to all for the last 4 years.
Since then also Blog is down.

If John has moved on, i wish him all the best & Thank You John for a great 4 years. You will be missed.

Re: Colgate 2010-2011 [Part II]

Is there ice at Starr..or they skating in Morrisvile ? Who's your son ?

Re: Colgate 2010-2011 [Part II]

Great trip planned to Italy. Hopefully the team can sort things out a bit before pre-season and give the frosh a chance to know one another. All that pizza should help too.

Sorry to hear John is leaving; he did a great job with the games. Wonder if Skip will return to the mike?

Nice to see the publicity for Kurtis on INCH; what a great recod of staying out of the sin-bin.

Re: Colgate 2010-2011 [Part II]

Didn't someone tell us last year that Larkin would be gone after his sophomore year?

Re: Colgate 2010-2011 [Part II]

What are you referring to Magoo ? I don't remember that ! One of the posting parents perhaps ?

Re: Colgate 2010-2011 [Part II]

Might have been a parent - don't remember the name but he/she definitely said Larkin would leave. Maybe he/she was just trying to get under our skin. Maybe someone else remembers what I'm referring to.

Re: Colgate 2010-2011 [Part II]

It was "hockeydad" or something like that who said Larkin was gone. Pretty sure I know who he is, not a Colgate parent.

Yeah, I remember Magoo. I think it was a so-called "expert" - maybe a fan/parent from RPI or Cornell. Am enjoying the blogs from Italy - hope you guys are following it. Should be a good bonding experience for the team.

FlagDUDE. I can't wait to go to the Big Red Freakout this year. So happy Colgate is a part of it.

Just stay behind the large poles so we don't have to look at you. :p:D

But in all seriousness, get your tickets through the allotment to Colgate's box office (or however you guys work the visitor's allotment), because we sell that game out. In addition, the price will be a few bucks higher than normal, as it is considered a premium game.

The game is not always a sell out! http://www.dailygazette.com/weblogs/schott/2009/feb/13/rpi-big-red-freakout-not-sold-out-yet/ However, last year was since they had number 1 ranked Yale in town for a 5-2 spanking.....SA's first Freakout victory!

2008-09 was one of those years similar to what Colgate had last year. We'd rather forget the regular season, but the playoffs were a step in the right direction.

Quite frankly, with Colgate having such a young team, I wouldn't be surprised if you ended up top 4 in the ECAC.

There's no stopping this team after all the pasta and pizza they ate in Italy..:D
