DD Light & Sweet. Funny, they don't seem to understand that outside of the northeast. I have to explain "extra cream & extra sugar".

My "other" vote is for the "Holiday" convenience store chain. 100% Columbian / french vanilla cappuccino mix...mmmm.

Gotta second Brooky on the Holiday coffee... dark roast with cream and a few ice cubes - perfect way to start the day!

Tim H is the way to go!! It use to be DD for me but............whenever you visit a DD the coffee taste different. No consistancy whatsoever. The taste of the coffee just is not the same.

Re: Coffee - Hockey fans choose......?????

Had our first Timmy's experience this weekend. Coffee was good and the cinnamon roll was delicious. There was even a second visit where Mrs. Ice went in alone while Mr. Ice was gassing up the family roadster. During this visit, Mrs. Ice got one heck of a funny look when she tried to order coffee with a shot of espresso for Mr. Ice.

Again, no complaint on the coffee itself, but I couldn't wait to find a green building where I could order a "Red eye"!

Re: Coffee - Hockey fans choose......?????

Rating the coffee alone? Well, I've tried Tim's in every province and in two territories. I'd rather drink day-old convenience store coffee. I voted "Other" for Caribou Coffee since Kiva Koffeehouse is not a chain.

Re: Coffee - Hockey fans choose......?????

It's DD regular for me and GMC when in Stowe, the nearest DD is a 20 minute round trip I can't wait that long.

Re: Coffee - Hockey fans choose......?????

I just had my first Timmy experience. The coffee itself is very strong and took some getting used to for me (my hometown borders the DD worldwide headquarters), but after awhile it was really delicious and definitely gave me the biggest caffeine boost I've ever had.

I'm starting to get into Seattle's Best lately. They have a "Sleigh Bell" blend, though I'm sure that's just a marketing tool because it tasted pretty much like regular coffee, but hey I'm a sucker for that kinda stuff. :o

I used to love Honeydew, but they got rid of my favorite flavor (Blueberry Cinnamon).

Agree with, Matt-got to now go with Caribou!

Thank you, Tony The Tiger20!

I love New England Coffee wherever they happen to serve it. For a quick fix on the go it's DDs, although I have to (ashamedly) admit that I really like some of Starbucks' lattes.

Re: Coffee - Hockey fans choose......?????

I like DDs as well, although, I find that they are getting so big that the quality is often hit or miss, especially when it comes to a medium iced coffee with cream and sugar..it needs to be made with love. yay diabetes!

Re: Coffee - Hockey fans choose......?????

   That is maddening considering one of the reason we liked the school our D picked is cause of the various Timmy's in the relative vicinity. The missus will be really upset now.

There are worse reasons to like a school!!

Timmy Closures - Say it Ain't so. :(

Timmy Closures - Say it Ain't so. :(

A more detailed account on the closures:

All stores in Hartford and Providence will be gone. No more timmies on trips to Boston, New Haven, New Hamden or Providence.

At least we still have the ones in Orange Country (Syracuse/Rochester/Cornell/Colgate corridor)
