Turn what around the first coach had them in the playoffs and at .500 three years in a row. I do not want to hear it was a diffrent time everything is relative!!! Now there are more players to choose from All that happened in the last 6 years is a program that has become a bottom feeder last place in successive years!!!

Yes. She announced last week that although she has enjoyed and cherished her 10 years behind the bench, she is embarking on a new path that demands less time, as her two year old son is demanding more!

The entire UNH community wishes her the best.

Does anyone know if they have a replacement. This looked like it was a d-3 team on the rise...or it should be. There are a number of good players coming right out of Pittsburgh now.

I don't know if they have a replacement, but from what I have heard they may be taking a few steps backwards next year.

Why? because girls are leaving to go elsewhere now? I hate to see any program stepping backwards. It's also nice to see college hockey programs supported in "non-traditional" hockey cities and hopefully they can do well and survive.

It will be interesting to see the direction Bowdoin goes now that Coach Wilson has resigned. Will they bring back a woman from the halcyon days (paging Emily, Meghan, Marissa...)? I had heard Stacy was very pleased with her Class of '14 recruits and this year's Polar Bears had come together nicely and were one amazing Hu save in the OT away from knocking off Amherst in the NESCACs, so the future, on the ice at Watson, appears bright.

Thanks, Binny, and congrats to Mac. I talked to her a couple weeks ago about her decision to leave UMD. Told me she wanted a change and that she had applied for the Auggies job. I also thought that was nobody's business but hers.

Mac and have been good friends since her freshman year, and have enjoyed many laughs and beverages together since '99. Going to miss you, Mac, but I'm sure you'll do a great job at Augsburg. Keep entertaining your players with all those Irish stories!!:)
