Bemidji State will start freshman goaltender Mathieu Dugas tonight, best of luck to him he has got the talent to do really well in nets.

As for the penalty shot, I agree with Geof that it was earned. Bax left his feet, dove and got legs instead of puck. It was a max effort that just came up a little short.

The real problem to me is that Ruffini got mugged on the other end while in the act of shooting and there was a bad no-call. We should have had a penalty shot too, but then, that's the way it goes. We had several chances to score and just whiffed on them or got stonewalled by a great performance by Kuhn, the Western goalie.

No doubt, this is a different team from last year. These guys are for real!!!

Beavers win 5-0, looked very good tonight watching online, congratulations to Mathieu Dugas for his first college victory and shutout in nets tonight, he looked very good.

Yeah, so?? If Bemidji State's holder didn't bobble the snap, BSU would have forced overtime. Oh even won it in regulation if ya had gone for 2. :eek:
