Even if BSU was to lose the CHA tourney, they will probably make the tourney as an at large bid.I'd buy that right about now, if today were selection Sunday, they'd have to be in. My only question would be what happens if/when Niagara/RMU/UAH waters down the computer rankings when there's nothing left but conference play.
If BSU should tumble somehow in the Tournament (unlikely as it is right now anyway), it would be great to see two CHA entries in the NCAA's.
That's where you get the beauty (controversy) of the asterix on the RPI.* Had this rule been in place back in 2000 for Niagara, who know's how hight they might have deserved (not how high they might have been placed)...
Point being - If BSU keeps winning (even if it's against CHA teams with poor winning percentages), their RPI, and therefore PWR, should keep them at least near the top...
*Team's RPI has been adjusted to remove negative effect from defeating weak opponent.
