The purps should be better from here on in as Annesley their captain and best defenseman is back and just getting his legs under him.

I hope their experiment with the Freshman defenseman has ended (their plus minus is horrible). Ease them in from time to time.

I am not sure they have found their #1 goalie yet which is a bit of a cause for concern.

The forwards are Ok but if you look at the plus minus numbers again, the majority of their leading scorers are posting big minus numbers which indicates they have forgotten where the other end of the rink is.

They will be better as long as A) they improve their team defense (this requires an attitude change all around B) their goaltending becomes more consistent (although I don't think this has been a big problem) C) they must improve their power play (it has been horrible for the last two years and you are not going to win until this does get better)

The NU pick was made to separate from the herd. I would like to make some picks to try and make it a one man show but this season it seems like a couple programs have really taken a step backwards up to this point in the season so far. :confused:

I will be heading to GF next saturday for the bemidji state vs. ohio state game, wondering where the beavers fans might be meeting up before the games. Go beavs

Great work guys, you help make the work week a little shorter and more bearable. Thursdays I can listen to the archived "Sports in the Round" and catch the Beaver Preview Video and Fridays I can listen to the podcast of "The Hockey Show".

I agree. We have nice BSU hockey coverage for this market.

The 11/18 Sports in the Round podcast is not listed on the 92.1 website - was there a show?

Beavers looked pretty good tonight with their 6-1 thrashing of Ala-Huntsville. Chased Talbot after the 5th goal. Points spread around tonight for the Beavers, as they had 6 different goal scorers. The thing that slowed the game down was all the penalties that were called tonight, 19 in total, 2 minutes a piece for all, 10 BSU, 9 ALA-Huntsville. Hopefully tomorrow night the refs keep the whistles in the pockets.
