CHA Thoughts and Prognostications: Year 11, The Finale... Part Deux

Re: CHA Thoughts and Prognostications: Year 11, The Finale... Part Deux

Split

BSU sweeps. My prediction is about as crazy as the one below! ;)

when UAH upsets them in the CHA tournament. ;)

Sunday in the CHA:

Chargers 3 - Purps 2

The Chargers beat the Purps four times this year... all by the same 3-2 score... Weird!!!

Re: CHA Thoughts and Prognostications: Year 11, The Finale... Part Deux

BSU splits at Nebraska-Omaha and they stayed tied at #4 with St. Cloud State in the PWR. They dropped one spot in the INCH Power Poll after this past weekend.

The weekend of nothing. The only thing left to decide is who is #2, and who is #3.... and those teams don't even play each other.

PICKS:

Bemidji @ UAH for two
Niagara vs. RMU for a home and home

Both splits for me.

Sorry for the triple post (if you saw it). My laptop was not liking me this morning.

In other news today:

The Penguins traded defensive prospect Chris Peluso (right) to the Maple Leafs for a conditional sixth-round pick.

Peluso (5-foot-11, 180 pounds) was a seventh-round pick in the 2007 draft by the Penguins. He is currently in his senior season at Bemidji State. He has seven points (all assists) in 24 games this season.

If I am looking at the standings correctly.....

BSU is the #1
RMU can finish #2 or #3
UAH can finish #2, #3 or #4
Niagara can finish #3 or #4.

It will be an interesting weekend. My picks....

RMU and Niagara split
BSU takes three points from UAH

Bobby Mo sweeps the Purps.
Beavers and Chargers split

Re: CHA Thoughts and Prognostications: Year 11, The Finale... Part Deux

Matt Dalton has been called back up to Boston and will be the backup tonight when the Bruins take on Toronto, I believe.

Re: CHA Thoughts and Prognostications: Year 11, The Finale... Part Deux

Last of the Prognosticator's Playpen picks... ever! :( I'll leave Wednesday for the Tourney. With Millsy's absence from this final CHA Tournament, I will stand alone as the only person to have been at each and every CHA Championship Tournament. Keep that in mind, someday I just may be the answer to an obscure college hockey trivia question... or not! :D

BSU @ UAH (2): Split - It just seems about time to take one from the Beavers this season.
NU vs RMU (2): Split - Just seems fitting to split them both so all teams go out with a win in the final week of regular season play.

Re: CHA Thoughts and Prognostications: Year 11, The Finale... Part Deux

the beavers sweep this weekend and they will win the last 13 straight meetings between the 2 teams.
