BSU and UNO Split

Former Beaver Matt Dalton has been called up to Boston for an emergency goalie. Basically with Tim Thomas still in Vancouver and NHL teams starting up practice again, the Bruins needed a practice goalie.

Also, Matt Pope, who was sent down to Bakersfield by Manitoba a couple of weeks ago, has been called back to Manitoba. Pope had struggled scoring in the AHL, went to Bakersfield, put up some goals and now is back in the AHL.

The BSU/UNO series is a tough call - and should be an exciting series. Blais'ers beard should be getting pretty gruff by now.

Agreed with most that UAH will take 2 of 3 from Niagara
Beavers split with UNO

I can't go against BSU. Would be nice if the Beavers could get 3 or 4 points against UNO, but the Mavericks are practically unbeatable at home (13-2-2). If this were not in Omaha, I would confidently predict a BSU sweep.

This. Beavs will be fired up to win one on the road and prove they belong, and also to seal up an at-large for when UAH upsets them in the CHA tournament. ;)
