CC, Den, Mich etc. Why no D-1 womens hockey???

Re: CC, Den, Mich etc. Why no D-1 womens hockey???

Yes, This is my point that most of these schools could easily start a womens hockey program. Especially a Michigan, MSU, Colorado etc.

I know there are obstacles but I enjoy the womens game and feel it gets better every year. Hope it keeps growing...

I believe you can remove CC from your list of schools that could "easily" start a women's program (one of the "Colorado" schools you may have been referring to). Just a few years back, they dropped men's DIII football due to budgetary constraints.

I saw that....so unless he keels over in the interim, the dinosaur will be around for another 3 years.
Not good news for any potential Michigan women's collegiate hockey development.

Red needs to wake up and smell the coffee. The antique stored called and said they were looking for him........Not to downplay what he has brought to the game but lets get with the times. Michigan would be a solid choice for womens hockey and the rivalries would start right off the hop.:)
