Will somebody please explain to me why they haven't painted over the jelly doughnut in the interview area behind Ostrow? I understand not replacing the carpet in the lockerroom ($), but let's just get out the roller and some black paint and make that stupid sucker go away.

In the pre game video the shot inside the locker room shows the doughnut, okay, assuming it's still there, I understand carpeting, particularly custom carpeting isn't cheap. But why in h*ll is the doughnut still visible for the TV audience? I mean, it's like exterminating bed bugs, you think you've got them all, but nooooooo.

Good game to DU. It was great to see a game that was pretty clean and hard faught.
Ok, my rant for the evening. OWENS!!! Where was Skalbeck??? Archie has been THE MAN since Thanksgiving and for some reason you bench him for Hall!?! He couldn't shoot the puck in the ocean from a Carnival cruise ship. That made a big difference tonight! (Rant over)

Great night for the Pios after a terrible start. DU crowd got into it after Martin's appearance, and the students and band made a big difference in crowd intensity. What a fun night at the arena. Wish they could all be like that.
