If DU ties the series tonight, is the Gold Pan awarded using stats like total goals/goal differential, or does the previous winner just keep it until next year?

You know, seeing this post reminds me that there's a limit beyond which we should not go in talking smack to our CC friends. Let me quickly add this post doesn't get anywhere NEAR the line. I just wanted to give you a little theoretical guidance. Carry on.

Ties go to whoever holds the pan. A CC win or tie tonight gives them the season series and the pan. A loss, and DU retains it. Only the four regular season games count.

@#$%^&* Once in a while, just for the change of pace, maybe DU could score first.

That one looked like a shot Sam should have had. Now, the rest of the team got a game in last night after a bye week, but Sam did not. Hope he gets in the flow quickly!

Re: CC at Denver - Saturday 2/5/11 - Gold Pan Will Be Won Tonight

It goes in the net for CC but is waived off immediately on the ice. Please, let's not go down two in the first again. Under review.

Re: CC at Denver - Saturday 2/5/11 - Gold Pan Will Be Won Tonight

Looks like a goal to me.

Yup. Huge break for DU. No goal. I didn't see any obvious motion by the CC player to push the puck towards the net. We just dodged a major bullet, IMHO. We need some UAA posters to weigh in on the unfairness of it all.
