Gunning For 10
The No. 9/8 Pioneers will play this year's second installment of the Gold Pan Series this weekend as they will take on intrastate rival Colorado College at Magness Arena on Friday, Feb. 8 (7:37 p.m.) Game will be televised on ROOT Sports with Jay Stickney (play-by-play), Charlie Host (color) and Jenny Cavnar (sideline) on the call. The radio broadcast is on 102.3 FM ESPN (KDSP - Denver) with Norm Jones (play-by-play) on the call. The audiocast is available on Pioneer Vision at www.denverpioneers.com for a fee.

Friday's game will be preceded by a Moment of Silence to honor former DU Pioneer Joe Casey (1996-00), who passed away at the age of 37 on Monday night in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Casey finished is Denver career with 15 goals and 12 assists over 78 career games. He was voted as the most improved and most inspirational player by his teammates during his senior season.

About five and a half minutes in, no score, sounds like good action. It doesn't particularly sound like DU is off to a fabulous start.
