60 minutes of hockey will be key this weekend. The Cats have to play offensively and defensively, win the battle on the boards, control the puck and flow of the game, and go out there with 110% effort---WIN BABY WIN!!!!

A-game a must for this series and the rest of the year.

LETS GO CATS!!!!

DavyD...this is kind of for you, since you'll be doing the games.

What time is Saturday's game? NMU and Ferris' website both say 7:30pm, but USCHO says 5pm, and Ive seen 5pm somewhere else (Maybe Fox Sports Detroit). Any answers?

I believe it was previously an early game until picked up by FSD.

The Cats haven't won a CCHA road game since Nov. 14 at Notre Dame. This Ferris team is really good and seem to be on a mission. The way NMU's been playing on the road makes me think they'll be very lucky to get even a single point this weekend.



Come on Cats, surprise me!

Where are all the Ferris fans? I was hoping to see more than just the usual NMU crew in here. Or, did they start their own separate threads for each day and each point they wanted to make??

The game was originally scheduled for a 5:05 pm start, which is what you see on USCHO and other national and regional sites. However, with FSN picking the game up, it will be olayed at 7:35. Our pregame show will start at 7:00.

I think my boy Hammer is the only consistent FSU fan on the board. Back when Kunitz was on the team FSU had about 15 regular posters. That was a lot of fun. I'm glad to see FSU doing well. It amazes me that they can go on these streaks (that only seem to last a season) every 5 years or so. They have horrific facilities and Big Rapids doesn't have much to offer. Why can't NMU ever make a run to the tourney or battle for the conference title?

Okay, another tie for the Wildcats...

This means without a doubt that each and every game for the rest of the season is a MUST WIN. If we lose one more game or have one more tie, we are officially out of the running for an NCAA at large bid. Am I right?

I think the only way the Cats get a NCAA bid is winning the CCHA tourney. Winning out is not likely, at all.

I watched the 2nd and 3rd periods on B2, I don't know what you mean by getting screwed. We got out shot badly, Stewart played really well, had a lead late in the 3rd but gave up the tying goal. My feed locked up after the game was tied, so I may have missed something, but I feel pretty good about coming out with a shoot out win.

Now that's the hockey team we've been waiting to see all season!!!!!!

We gave up almost 100 shots on goals this series, but all that matters is that we got 5 points on the weekend and we're just 1 point behind Michigan for the coveted 1st round bye.
