Canisius SHG as a puck got tipped as DU tried to go D to D at the point. Canisius doing well to take away scoring lanes for DU's defensemen, putting the pressure on near the blueline.

Yeah, that's what I'd heard. Roll out the red carpet. Crank up the spotlights. What's the point of asking them back if you're not going to honor them? A press release? A mention in the Post? Sh*t!
I freely admit my prejudices here. But you can make a strong case that the '68 NC team was our second best ever. Undefeated at home. 16 straight wins after losing to the Russians in the Broadmoor. Stormed into the NC. Shut out North Dakota 4-0 in the title game. During the final 14 regular season games, the starting line of Jim Shires, Tom Miller and Cliff Koroll outscored opponents 33-2! Magnuson, Koroll, Patrick, Wiste, etc.

So on its application/resume for inclusion in the NCAA post-season tourney Denver will be able to include:
LOSSES: Alaska-Anchorage [check]
Alaska-Fairbanks [check]

I think most of us expected a bit of a down season, but Christ on a cracker, this is getting embarrassing. (Even if they come back and win tonight, they shouldn't have to come back from 3-0 against Canisius.)
