We felt bad for the safety of the greater population of Canada that you needed to win the olympic gold more than us after all the domination at the U-18, U-17, and juniors.

Should be an interesting tournament in the stands anyway...more than 66% of all ticket sales so far are to Canadians...When the IIHF needs money, they hold the tournament either in Canada or near the border. Go Canada Go!!

There are lots of Canada vs USA possibilities over the next few weeks with the World Juniors and the Women's U18 and U22 Tournaments on the go. There was a time when Canada could just step on the ice and win but those days are past. With the gap closed it makes for a ton of excitement and emotion. Enjoy it!

You're right. This thread was a veritable treasure trove of hockey knowledge before I showed up.

By all means, continue on with the Canada vs. U.S. s***show.
