Re: Campaign XXVI: The Drumpf World Order

No, the people violently protesting and ripping up cities are the clear and present danger. I have confidence your brainwashed little self will eventually wake up, though.

This from the guy who gets his big ideas from Breitbart and 4chan. I will say you are comedic gold...much like Ben Carson. :D (and just as wrong about everything)

Note that he's fixated on the "riots" that are "destroying our cities." That comes from his 24/7 diet of Breitbart etc.

Flag is what you get when you feed a lab rat nothing but stories of black-on-white violence all day, every day, as its only nourishment Even if it doesn't start out as a racist, you make one. And that is exactly what Ailes & Co. were aiming for way back. A way to create a completely parallel reality.

Conservatism never wins on the facts. Their solution: make new facts.

You know, I'm kind of honored you see me as the enemy. Almost the same way Obama felt about the name "Obamacare". I still have confidence you'll awaken from your brainwashing, though.

Re: Campaign XXVI: The Drumpf World Order

Joe Scarborough sucks. Why you watch that show I will never know.

Because it's the most balanced of any Political Show on TV. That's why.

Actually agree with Scoobs here.

Scarborough and I differ on a lot of things, but he's reasonable and their panels are usually very balanced - unlike the rest of MSNBC's schedule.

Re: Campaign XXVI: The Drumpf World Order

jeez, I can't even stand to see that smug a-hole's face, let alone sit down and actually listen to his show.

Lol... I used to watch Scarborough Country - his failed prime time MSNBC show.

:D

Well, I appreciate your confidence. I am sorry to say I am not as confident you will emerge from yours. But there is always hope.

mookie likes msnbc. start with joe in the morning when i can, then follow through the rest of the day.

That's not really a prerequisite. Nixon was never indicted and in fact it was questionable whether he could be indicted. Nixon, who had an excellent legal mind, held that when the President did it, it wasn't illegal by definition.

Regardless, a more devious political move would be if Trump pardoned her.

If tge President issues a finding, doesn't that make the action legal?

Ugh. I'll watch Reverend Al for the laughs and Rachel for the eroticism. Other than that you can flush the network down the tubes.

Re: Campaign XXVI: The Drumpf World Order

Federal prosecutorial power derives from the executive branch of which the president is the head.

Hmm. The President has appointment power, but he can't just whisk in and declare an outcome. At least I sure as heck hope he can't.

If he could, there would be no point in having pardon power. The President would simply issue a finding.

uno will know for sure.

Re: Campaign XXVI: The Drumpf World Order

It is an unanswered question as to whether a sitting President can be indicted on Federal charges. In Watergate the court did hold the President was subject to answering the subpoena of the grand jury, but that is as far as it went.

After Nixon resigned there was a real question as to whether Nixon would be denied due process, the right to a fair trial, and the right to a speedy trial. These questions were of course renewed during the Clinton impeachment hearings.
