Holy ****ing ****. I defy any man on Earth to look at Megyn Kelly right now and not agree with me that she is 100% drop dead gorgeous.

Gentlemen, we have reached Peak Megyn.

Re: Campaign 2016 - Snow White and the 7 dwarfs.

Surprised that O'Malley and Kasich are not doing better. Truly they seem like two of the more sensible of the bunch.

Is that the plastic doll with the fake face and the hair-like sculpture sitting in the middle? yeah... not seeing it.
Anyway, I want to know how to become "an entrepreneur of the youtube."

Meh. Not really doing it for me.

Get a webcam and a capture card, download Minecraft, and play through it while recording yourself screaming and howling like a moron.

My first thought was "I really hope Dulce Candy turns out to be a porn star."

Re: Campaign 2016 - Snow White and the 7 dwarfs.

You mean like the progressives that voted for Obama...when Progressives have someone they support they come out in droves. Especially the youth...and even you have to admit the youth of America is not exactly Hillary backers.

Yes, and they actually existed. You unintentionally brought up a good point as it pertains to Iowa. In almost all polling I've seen, including polling with Sanders in the lead, people who caucused in 2008 are favoring Hillary by 5-7% (or more) but new voters are favoring Sanders 3:1. I don't doubt that the new most likely youth vote is favoring Sanders and his free tuition/free weed platform. ;) What I do question is the notion that there are, in a state with relatively small population growth, all these new voters out there who will swing the race that much. Remember, those Obama voters are already baked into the #'s I gave you for Hillary's lead amongst people who participated last time.

So, IF these new voters exist, AND in the overwhelming #'s Sanders and crew seem to think, then Viva La Revolution! If they don't, and I'm a bit skeptical at this point, go Hill!

It wasnt unintentional but your weak *** condescension is noted.

Oh grow up you big baby. You tend to typify the most annoying of Sanders fans, which is any criticism of the guy's plans is blasphemy. One can legitimately point out how unrealistic a 6% tax hike on the working poor is politically, especially when Nancy Pelosi herself has come out against it. But, I suppose she's only a DINO too..

As much as you play that piano drunk like a percussion instrument until your fingers begin to bleed, I've never in real life heard a Sanders supporter be any more rabid than any Hillary, Bush or Rubio supporter.

You have a pre-set narrative: "candidate threatens Hillary from the left therefore candidate must be insane and supporters must be naive and intolerant." Your problem is Sanders doesn't fit your narrative. You're trying to paint him as Cynthia McKinney or Rosa Clemente and that dog won't hunt.

Pro tip: stop sounding like a You Tube Comments section and start addressing the substantive differences in the candidates' policies. This juvenile name calling might work at a rally, but here where people are a lot more savvy, it is only hurting your argument.

Re: Campaign 2016 - Snow White and the 7 dwarfs.

Carter and Ford were failures who got little done, not incrementalists.

The whole point which torpedoes your argument is that they were both incrementalists and failures (though in a way I'd argue Ford did exactly what he set out to: he was a human stonewall). Therefore the former is no guarantee of success.

Dumb response Kep. You can be a failure as a incrementalist (Ford, Carter, Bush I) or a failure as a big change guy ( Bush II). Or you can be a success as an incrementalist (Clinton) or a big change guy (FDR). Have you had your morning coffee yet or are you still hung over after a torrid evening with Megyn?

I've already discussed my problem with the one Sanders proposal he's taken the time to detail how he plans on paying for. I've said that 1) a tax hike on the working poor is a political disaster, 2) I see little indication the majority of the electorate wants to refight the health care wars for single payer, which most people probably don't understand, 3) Nancy Pelosi herself isn't on board, and if she isn't on board I would hope even you would agree his plan has zero change in Congress even if the Dems do retake the House. This is concrete, detailed, and a non-personal critique of the man's policy. For that I'm sure I'll hear the same bleating about being a DINO.

So....I should sound more like this poster?

Rover sees none of this, because the other side has effectively removed his balls. He equates any attempt to revive a real left -- a left he won't necessarily like, by the way -- with the insipid Utopian Defeatism of Nader who claimed there was not a dime's worth a difference between the parties. That's why Rover's rhetoric is always just plain wrong when he tries to imagine what liberals are thinking. He doesn't really believe there are any liberals left: just world weary centrists and then some naive lunatics.

In other words, Rover has adopted the political mindset of Donald Rumsfeld. Everyone who disagree with him on his own side is simply weak-minded. To Rover, the greatest danger to holding power is using it for your ideals.

That doesn't build a party, it's just a soft form of purging, and it spells electoral disaster, because the country will not follow leaders who lack the courage of their convictions. And, really, who can blame them?

It can only help, though my spell checking is substandard.

The thing I don't get here is why you are so monotonously devoted to running down every Bernie supporter here at every chance. That aint how you build a coalition, buddy. The nation's peril isn't on the left, it's on the right.

Liberals (or anyway those I have met) understand that centrists are part of our coalition and that despite our disagreements we each have a legitimate perspective and more importantly we don't have to love one another in order to fight off the orcs. I assume most Hillary supporters understand the same thing. And frankly, though Hillary is maybe a 70 on my scale of ideological agreement, she's a 90 on toughness and a 100 on pragmatism (man is she ever) and those characteristics are just as important in getting things done. Candidate Obama was a 90 on ideology, a 50 on toughness, and a 90 on pragmatism, and his naivete and attempt at reproachment with an insincere opposition whose sole purpose was to destroy him wasted two years and the political capital of '06 and '08. We can't have that happen again.

Of course we would each prefer a candidate who more closely matches our positions, but I'll take up the fight for Hillary is she wins the nomination and hopefully you'll do the same if it's Bernie.

You know how I feel; I'm not going to take the bait anymore.

Re: Campaign 2016 - Snow White and the 7 dwarfs.

I have no intention of running down Bernie supporters. The problem is when they start with the Holier Than Thou attitude, or I should say More Progressive Than Thou. I like the old guy, but try pointing out holes in his proposals and watch the fur fly. I posted a couple of weeks ago an article which people were free to question that said his health care proposal doesn't just cover the $1.3T that the govt pays for care, but the $1.7T that people pay out of pocket. He's only raising $1T in taxes so where's the rest coming from?

You know the responses I got to that from Bernie's people? Nothing. Yet I'm the one who doesn't want to engage in a debate over substance?

Here's my view! Bernie Sanders is a career politician, just like Hillary or O'Malley. Bernie's supporters aren't any less apt to throw around insults than I am. I can provide quotes to that effect if you'd like, as I already did in your case. He has his proposals some of which are good and some are based in fantasyland. If it makes you feel better, you have every right to blast a Hillary proposal if you'd like although I keep hearing odd references to Pantsuits and Wicked Witch and this and that from a good deal of lefties.

So, lets view Bernie as a mortal and someone who's been in Washington for a long time now, not a newbie on the scene who's above the fray on every issue. As I said before, I'll vote for the guy but with the hope/fear that he needs to not raise taxes on the very people he's trying to help or his chances of winning are slim. This is not a personal insult of you, Handy, or Bernie Sanders. Its an assessment of the chances of his policy proposal being enacted.

Re: Campaign 2016 - Snow White and the 7 dwarfs.

Kos encapsulates last night's debate:

Ted Cruz: Happy people hate him, Obama is Satan, he did not say that about immigration and Marco Rubio is a liar.

Marco Rubio: Loves Jesus, Obama is probably a Muslim, ISIS, ISIS, ISIS, ISIS, ISIS, he did not say that about immigration and Ted Cruz is a liar.

Jeb Bush: Loves his mother. And his brother. Probably his dad. (And after getting one anti-Marco zinger in, he disappeared.)

Chris Christie: Hillary Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Hillary Clinton. Defund Planned Parenthood. Hillary Clinton. 9/11.

Ben Carson: Russia is a one horse country energy (really). Sleepiness.

Rand Paul: Doesn’t blame Hillary for Bill.

John Kasich: Who knows?
