Is the Rust Belt midwestern? Because Pittsburgh is Youngstown with cirrhosis.

Philly is New Jersey. The middle part of the state is Alabama.

Pittsburgh considers itself Midwestern. I had this discussion with several Pittsburgh natives in college.

Nobody in my extended family (5 aunts and uncles, 37 cousins), all born and raised in Pittsburgh suburbs on both sides the of the family, consider themselves to be Midwestern. It must be a generational thing.

Well the 2016 Senate election here in Alaska will be fun. Murkowski is up but she PO'd a good amount of people endorsing Sullivan this year including plenty of Alaska Natives that helped her win in 2010. Begich will undoubtedly run again because of that. And of course, because the Teahadists loathe Murkowski, we'll get Joe Miller running again.

It's everything. Mitch McConnell is just one of those people who looks funny. Not funny strange but funny likeable. He's a boy Carol Burnett.
