You might want to check a map of Confederate States and rethink that border comment. Only one state that joined with the Confederacy has a border with Mexico.

Starting to see a meme go around of Bernie saying "I dodged the Vietnam war as a conscientious objector, but I want to be your commander in chief."

Oh noes! Someone who thinks something that kills people and costs ungodly amounts of money is bad!

Edit: I should also add his application for conscientious objection was denied anyway, and that he didn't serve because he was too old when his draft number came up (holy crap he is old).

I got robocalled from South Carolina for a survey. Republican Survey. I picked Trump. Said I wouldn't vote for any of the others.

I have doubled down on my "I don't recognize the number, I don't answer the call" policy until November.

Got a call a few weeks back from a 202 number. Sweet girl on the other end said she was from Gallup. Had time to kill when she called so I humored her. One of the first questions was to the effect of 'please state if you are very interested, interested, indifferent, dis-interested, or very dis-interested in each of these candidates:' and she read off a dozen of them, with my answer being "Dis-interested" to all the names, until she read "Trump."

"Ah, what the hell. I'm going to skew your poll numbers. Very interested."
I heard an audible giggle from the other end of the line.


Played it fairly straight after that though.
