Campaign 2016 - People lie the most after a hunt, during a war or before an election

Read 'em and weep, mookie!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_...rams#Popular_radio_shows_in_the_United_States

So the 2nd and 4th most listened to shows in the country would miss us tuning in? Methinks you're a bit misinformed! :D

That's a cool chart. I always thought Marketplace was NPR. And I've never heard of Dave Ramsey or Kim Komando, but I've also not listened to terrestrial radio for about 15 years.

Its on the NPR stations but I guess they don't produce the show (similar to Prarie Home Depression, I mean Companion). Two things I've noticed. Limbaugh used to pull in 20M listeners. He's down 1/3rd, probably because his audience croaked! Also as I was telling joecct, libs are getting their news from NPR, daily kos/huffington/etc, Daily Show/Colbert at the time, etc. They aren't tuning into CNN whose ratings are friends and family at this point or network news whose avg age of viewers is like 95. ;)

CNN is the pablum for public spaces like airports that don't want to offend viewers by putting on skewed networks like Fox or MSNBC. Knucks think CNN is "biased" the way somebody who lives in Death Valley thinks Phoenix is "cold." CNN's only bias is towards sensationalism ("if it bleeds, it leads") and idiot concern stories ("could your child's backpack be KILLING them?!").

No, they don't lean. They cover what sells. Hillary sells. Most of the country doesn't even know Bernie. It's all about the money.
Clinton just had to show up to be declared a winner by the media. Not sure why they aren't trying to turn it into a similar circus as the republicans, surely just one clown show isn't as lucrative as two.

They want to pave the way for Hillary because they know Bill will be banging cocktail waitresses two at a time in the Lincoln Bedroom.

Will there be an increase or decrease in the amount of intern applications in a HRC White House?

The First Lady's (Man's?) staffers will have an all-male requirement attached to them, whether explicitly stated or not, by decree of POTUS.

An earlier household discussion today that proves that the DoD budget is untouchable.

Wife: I have to order something for our grandson
Me: What is it?
Wife: A Zombie Eliminator
Me: What is a zombie eliminator
Wife: A Nerf gun
Me: He already has a nerf gun!
Wife: This one has more bullets.

On Monday, Jason Lewis tossed his hat into the ring for the MN Congressional District #2 race. The incumbent, John Klein - R, is retiring at the end of his term. Lewis, a radio talk show host with an extensive history in MN, and a national radio show from which he dramatically quit while on air, now makes the fourth Republican and the sixth overall candidate to declare for this race. Given the makeup and voting history of the district, it's really just a matter of which Republican wins. Right now, from the limited knowledge I have of the candidates thus far declared, he'd would likely be the prohibitive front runner due to local name recognition alone.

Somewhat unsurprisingly a boost for both Hillary and Bernie post debate, at Biden's expense.

http://politicalwire.com/2015/10/16/clinton-and-sanders-gain-in-post-debate-poll/

Not much of a boost, but I'm not surprised. Any time a lesser-known candidate shares the stage with a power candidate, it tends to help them unless they completely self-destruct. And speaking as someone who thinks of Hillary as a sort of political port-a-potty: not my first choice but hey it's better than nothing when you're really desperate -- she did well enough. She is still wooden, but it's more of a teak now rather than the old, ahem, birch.

I think people are getting wise to the fact that the Biden narrative is 90% in the heads of the media. I still think Biden was only going to get in if Hillary had a complete meltdown, and with the Congressional inquiries now exposed and admitted as frauds, she is starting to look safe.

Wait for it. Wait for it.

Biden's innuendo says he's decided. And could be wrong, but it smells like he's running. No reason to send subtle messages if he was just retired.

Well with Uncle Joe, he really needs to sh! t or get off the pot. Even if he does announce now, its going to be a bit anti-climatic. I can see him waiting until Hillary does the Ben Ghazi! thing but that committee is sinking faster than the Titanic. Even if she was guilt of.....what exactly is the crime again?....she's smarter than the entire committee combined and has a good chance of eating them alive. I also keep coming back to it, which is the optics of an obviously partisan Congressional committee continuing to haul female witnesses for public inquisitions in front of a 99% male panel.
