I confess I just got home and flipped on Fox to see what the juiciest word is and Trump is making a killing on this news in his New Hampshire speech.
If he had the sense, he'd just walk off right now before he steps all over this break for himself. He will most likely say something that will make headlines over the Hil news any minute now, though.

Yes, he would. The issue here is most likely a leak of info to the press from his office, saying that the FBI is indeed checking into presumably new e-mails sent from her but that they haven't announced publicly yet. Had that happened the integrity of the FBI would once again be called into question as part of a cover-up.
Where I think Comey screwed up is his vague statement. Who is being investigated and are they simply just reading a certain amount of e-mails to see what's in them? I've heard it reported that they're looking for classified info, which depending on the volume shouldn't be that hard to figure out.

The more I think about this question the more I believe it's the key. How in the world did an "unrelated case" (per Comey) loop back to Clinton emails?
What's more interesting is they are willing to say it's not related to Wikileaks or the Clinton Foundation.
