Campaign 2016 Part XXI: Do you love farce? My fault, I fear.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XXI: Do you love farce? My fault, I fear.

It's been a long weekend, so my sarcasm meter might be askew, but I hope you're joking. Is it plausible? Sure. Possible? Probably not.

Let's say 40/60. The type of white nationalists who are attracted to Trump have been sucking up that gas for a long time. This is their one shot at a takeover of a significant office. For ideologues, nothing else matters but The Cause.

I do not think people have truly wrapped their minds around who we're dealing with.

And my counter is that some that tout the "tolerance" theme are not that tolerant. They are only tolerant if you agree with them. Hence my question.

No conservative writes their Es like backwards threes. Come on Kep.

Yes, lets make fun of the victims. Great idea- another indication of what trump wants to take us back to.

You seem to think that sexual assault is ok.

When your kids complain that someone assaulted them, and you want to be really angry and want us to support you- don't plan on it. Based on your posts, whatever some adult does to your kid- it's your kid's fault all the way. Or, of course, someone randomly assaults you- it clearly is your fault.

That's not the country I want to live in, nor is it at all American.

If my kids complain about assault, they're going to complain right away. They're not going to wait over a decade for the sole purpose of political gain...

For the sole purpose of political gain? You're a joke. And part of the reason women often don't feel like they can come forward.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XXI: Do you love farce? My fault, I fear.

On the way to the store today I noticed a neighbor down the street's garage and his Trump/Pence signs were all spray painted with bright orange swastikas.

I've met him out walking his husky, Max. Guy's a retired plumber from Jersey with a very Jewish last name.

You know, I find it kind humorous in a dark way that right wingers are having their **** sprayed with swastikas instead of the other way around. Instead of it being a hate crime it's now a labeling of the haters.

This isn't directed at you in any way, shape, or form, but I find it repulsive that some think this behavior is ok, because it's directed at "haters."

Well, when you associate yourself and your campaign with David Duke and refuse to repudiate his message. Or when you use antisemitic rhetoric in your speeches.

Free speech. I am disgusted by those opinions, but they have a right to say them.

This brings me back to my original point: some are tolerant, but only if you agree with them.

And spraypainting someone's house because they have a Trump sign in their yard isn't hate?

Yeah... swastikas on a Jewish person's home or property is hate, regardless of the "justification."

And Brent... we don't yet know what happened in NC.

It's entirely possible that it was done as a ruse.
