Campaign 2016 Part XXI: Do you love farce? My fault, I fear.

If this isn't a Reagan/Mondale election, all hope for my country is lost. Hillary should trounce, which has been my stance for a couple months.

It won't, because it's Hillary. Biden or Bernie, maybe, but it's amazing how many people are still shouting BENGHAZI and EMAILS from the roof tops.

Are there numbers on how many people are staying red because they feel a third party gives Hillary an auto win? I'd like to see a split on how many actually like Trump, are just party loyal, or feel Johnson isn't worth it.

It wont matter...the damage is done. His ceiling is 42% no one else would dare vote for him. The party abandoned him and he burned the bridge...its over.

I'd say he's capped now at 38%. He's dissed the party and the folks that were holding their nose and voting party will walk.

As far as a "Reagan" (49/50 states), I'd say Hillary is still looking at 44/50 at best, but that's still 340+ EV.

I was saying it is 42% if everyone came flooding back for some reason.

If folks came "flooding" back something truly devastating has happened. He's lost base by dissing the Party that nominated him.

Trump will be in one of two worlds: 38% or ... < gasp > the Oval Office*.

*Like I said, something truly devastating.

American's don't mind if you win big; but the also don't like it when you run up the score.

Folks, honestly, the media is now piling on Trump. Yup, he's a schmuck. But the American public only has so much stomach for piling on. Magically they find all of this in the last ten days? It's feeling orchestrated; it feels like running up the score.

Worse? If there's one over zealous, over stated claim, if Trump can legitimately refute one of the most recent allegations suddenly he has more than "they're against me!" rhetoric; he'll have what he dreams of - PROOF that the media is actively working against him.

Personally, the smartest thing Hillary could do right now is start talking as if she's in office now and only talk about Trump in defeated opponent terms. To keep hacking away looks like running up the score.

Forget about all the bigoted, unconstitutional policies Trump himself has advocated during this election cycle, he has such a self absorbed and just plain juvenile past I was wondering when the Clinton campaign would start going at him hard. The recent stories about sexual misconduct is similar to the Cosby situation. Once he is shown to be vulnerable and publicly denies things he has, in fact, done, people will come forward. With Trump, I'm sure there are more. The only down side of the sexcapade stories is that they detract attention from other flaws that are just as serious and more dangerous.

He is worse that a schmuck--he is unfit in a way that is unprecedented.

Speaking of Crazy

Former congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) is warning Christians that if they don’t vote for Donald Trump, the country will experience a wave of sexual assaults.

In an interview with the American Pastors Network’s “Stand In The Gap” radio program on Monday, Bachmann said “liberals” were using Trump’s “lewd, crude remarks” to encourage Christian women to vote for Hillary Clinton. But that, she claimed, would be even worse for women than a Trump presidency.

I believe that Hillary Clinton will set a standard in this country that will lead to more sexual assaults against women because she will be setting an anti-biblical agenda,” Bachmann said.

Six months of people shouting SOCIALIST or TOO OLD or whatever dirt they dug up on Biden would have produced the same effect, and likely been worse since neither would have been as capable at running their campaign as the Clinton team has been.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XXI: Do you love farce? My fault, I fear.

the tragedy of Donald Trump neatly summarized in 1 Timothy:
"He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."

Yup. The bully is down. He's flailing away on the ground at everything around him not knowing what it is. In the process he's punching the curb, the asphalt, himself, and even the few people trying to help him up (some of his own staff).

But it is kinda close to Halloween.

I'd say Hillary is still looking at 44/50 at best, but that's still 340+ EV.

44 states would include: AR (R+14.9), MS, LA, KY, TN, MT, SD, KS, TX, SC, IN, MO, UT, AK, and GA. No way.

To get the straight font states above you need 5 more points. The italic, 10 more points, the bold italic, from 12 to 15 more points, and that's from now which is Trump's nadir, down 6.9 points. If you know anybody who thinks Trump is going to lose the popular vote by 31 points you need to question them whether they are under the care of a physician. Harding beat Cox in 1920 by "only" 26 points -- the largest popular vote margin since 1796.

I loved that show and what Daniels says there is on point with how I felt...

Just when you think it cant get more ludicrous: Putin Ally Says Vote Drumpf or Risk Nuclear War

Zhirinovsky is certifiable. I don't even think Putin considers him an ally. More "she's got the crazy eyes, play along..."

And yet, even though he’s a belligerent, racist, sexist, homophobic, nationalist sociopath, you can’t help but admire his refusal to play politics as usual.

Ring a bell?
