I'll be honest: I haven't voted for anything in my life below the state's elections (senators/governor). Nothing has affected me enough below those levels where I felt the need to vote.
I don't understand not voting at all just because you don't like the presidential candidates. There are plenty of other positions and proposals to vote for that in the end will probably end up having a bigger impact on your life than the president. That school board member will be hiring superintendents and proposing millages for your child's school, city council will set property taxes, and your state Supreme Court could set precedent for the rest of the nation.
Just because the GOP sent the worst candidate in history, you don't like HRC for whatever reason, and Gary Johnson doesn't know what Aleppo is, doesn't mean you should just ignore what's happening in your own neighborhood.
