I love Samantha Bee. So, I have to think that these people that are interviewed by her people, or The Daily Show, etc. don't watch those shows?? I can't believe they allow themselves to look so ridiculous on camera.

Actually according to stories I have read many of the people interviewed for these shows enjoy the idea of being on TV so much they dont care they look like morons. (see also: Reality TV)

One thing I find annoying is the red and blue "geographic" maps that roughly equate, say, Montana with New York, Pennsylvania, and Ohio combined. While I believe that most people who publish maps like this aren't trying to misrepresent the data, the visual effect, to me, would make a good exhibit for "How to Lie with Statistics".

There are maps available that size states by number of electoral votes (e.g. 538 has one, I'm sure there are others), but not in the mass media.

This is a nice one.

Here is 538's.

Here is a creepy one.

Here is a more clunky attempt.

This one is like Post-It notes. (Note the separate districts in ME and NE.)

Here if you like graph paper.

Bunch of others here.

All she needs is a draw. Trump needs to win BIGLY. He's losing right now and by increasingly significant margins.

"It needs to be a great victory. And it'll be a really great victory. And people are already saying it'll be a great victory, a really great victory. It'll be yuuuuuuge."

NEW YORK — Citing a Border Patrol union leader, Donald Trump said Friday that agents have been told to allow immigrants into the United States illegally "so they can vote in the election." But he offered no evidence to support his most recent claim that presidential voting may be tainted by fraud.

The America I used to know would never give this guy 42% of anything.

Paul Ryan is going to campaign with him now.

Wall Street is not a fan of tD. They own HRC. Anything they can do to ensure that their "girl" will be sitting in the big chair and will ensure the status quo is their mission.

The WSJ is a Murdoch property. The only thing straight about it is the financials page -- everything else is indistinguishable now from FNC.

As for Wall Street, they really can't lose this election. If Hillary wins their game goes on pretty much undisturbed. If Trump wins they have a continuous plutocratic orgy from 1/20 until the bombs drop.

We are four weeks to the election.

As it stands now Trump is at best a semifinalist in this race (1 in 4 shot). Before "Debate 1: Sniff into the Mic", he was a finalist (1 in 2). So in a week Trump fell that far.

What'll it'll take for Trump:

- a yuuuuuuge performance in Debate 2 to turn the momentum
- three gaffe-free weeks after Debate 2 to hold that <-- I say three because in the fourth ...
- a beneficial to Trump October surprise (from him or 3rd party) or an utter gaffe by the Clinton campaign
- no worse than a draw in Debate 3

Let me translate all that: Trump has far less than 1 in 4 odds because there's no way he can do three gaffe-free weeks and win Debate 2.

Can they deorbit the Satellite of Love to hit the debate site?

No need for Hillary to get hit. If we're aiming for Trump, I vote for Pearl Forrester's micro-bus with Bobo and Brain Guy aboard. That sub arc blew.

Trump campaign is canceling hundreds of thousands of dollars in advertising in Fla, NC, OH, possibly other states, per two buying sources.

That's a bold move.

Edit
1 minute ago Manhattan, NY

Two campaign sources say the ad money is being plowed back into states to increase the buys, but not apparently for next week's reservations
