Personally if Hillary getting elected means more taco trucks I will vote for her twice!

It's funny that a statement can make conservatives go "Oh My Lord! More Mexicans? The horror!" can make liberals go "mmmmmmm tacos..." :D

It's funny how the same sort of people who decry restaurant health inspections as expensive, progressive attacks on small businesses like food trucks, are the same people who vociferously endorse a multi-billion dollar border wall and increased police/military efforts to effect mass deportations.

As always, they're against big government - unless it means punishing brown people who try to improve their lot in life.

Are the hockey program issues part of the political debate up there?

From what I understand about MN, they would be there.

Great summary of where we are by 538.

tl; dr: Clinton up by about 4 but she's blown about 4 points. So, is that bleed out over or will kit continue?

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XVII: If debates are great theater, I think this one closes e

And she is still ahead in Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Nevada and North Carolina...right now she messing around and getting a triple double ;)

Are the hockey program issues part of the political debate up there, or is that just something of value to us hockey nerds?
No real effect whatsoever on the hockey issues but it turns what was a pretty solid Republican seat into a wacky 3-4 person race.

You can say don't underestimate how bad of a candidate she is, as long as you follow that with don't underestimate how good of a machine and politician she is.

I would purport that the majority of that bleeding has been to Johnson and Stein, not Drumpf, and that a lot of those voters can still be won back. Not sure what the poll trends say about that theory, I'm too lazy to check. :p

If the D's had offered up almost any other candidate (and no, Bernie was not a Democrat), I think this would already be set for a landslide. As it is, the Rovers of the board (Clinton sycophants) will have to settle for an Obama 2012 or likely a bit worse. Which will be immensely disturbing, because it won't be the kind of blowout needed for the R's to completely repudiate the dogma they've embraced in the last 50 years.

For all my "Shrill" criticism, I was giving her the benefit of the doubt until the past 3-4 weeks, when she disappeared from the radar, in true Clinton "We don't have to answer to the media, or you proletarian peons" fashion. And now, in the last week, she's claiming, "Oh, sorry, I forgot about my training regarding classified info, because, uhh, you know I had that concussion..." Jesus that sounds awful, regardless if it's true or not. And worse yet, she appeared for the press, seemingly after Drumpf demanded it. Yuck.

Ok, you won't like this, but it is good.

@paxdickinson: at this rate Hillary will be talking through a hole in her throat during the first debate and she'll be a brain in a jar by the third one

Tonight, a guy at a restaurant I frequent had a "Hillary for Prison" shirt. He caught me giving it the hairy eyeball, and asked if I approved. I laughed and said my neighbor had the bumper sticker, and that I might vote for Johnson. He turned away and I didn't hear a peep out of him the rest of the time I was there. It was perfect. :)

Biden would have turned this into 1988, more or less.

Well, Johnson and steins numbers have not really been increasing as best I can see so I'm not sure about your first point. If anything, Johnson / Welds numbers have unfortunately been fading by a couple of points.

I agree though. If the Democrats had offered up a better candidate we could be looking at a historical landslide.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XVII: If debates are great theater, I think this one closes e

Well when I looked over the weekend the numbers when all 4 were in the poll had Hillary farther ahead then just head to head with Drumpf. (she was ahead both ways though) Johnson just pulls too much away from Drumpf and Stein has no pull really from Hillary.

The best part of the stupid "Hillary is Ill" meme is that if she was ill, and unable to hold office whoever they replace her with on the ballot (assuming she is unfit now) will likely wipe the floor with Drumpf and win in a landslide. Whether it is Kaine jumping up or Biden swooping in (and he would) Drumpf would go down in flames. The Frauddy's of the world should be praying she is as healthy as Drumpf brags to be :D

That's the biggest (and saddest) laugh. As mentioned earlier, this election was a slam dunk if EITHER party could have nominated someone that was not totally horrible compared to Trump/Hillary. And they BOTH failed.
