I award you partial points; you are half correct. Solar will work if the price is jacked high enough (no-CO2 nuclear would still be cheaper to produce ).

However, solar is still not the answer, nor is wind, until large-scale storage technology (batteries) markedly improves.

It will work depending on your definition of work . If they don't want Coal and Nukes, having electricity for a few hours every day works pretty good as opposed to nothing.

Moore has been doing that since Day 1. He and Bill Maher are of the opinion that the best thing to do is scare people into voting. I dont disagree but I think they are going hyperbolic about it. (especially Moore who seems like a scared housewife worried about the new neighbors)
