For once I agree with Scooby. If Drumpf has the most delegates, his zombies are going to descend on Cleveland like locusts. If he doesn't win the Quicken Loans Arena is going to look like a cross between Chicago 68, the Superdome after Katrina, and Mad Max. They'll have to chopper the nominee off the roof like the Saigon embassy.

Al-Gore got the most votes and you know where he ended up.
tD needs a majority. 200 votes short is a lot worse than 50 votes short. If he's close (50 delegates), then he's in. If he's 200 votes short, then we have a contest. I want blood in the water. I want fistfights! I want the people glued to the TV sets and the network anchors scrambling when the convention goes off script. Coronation Street will occur later in the summer.

Sorry. Even if he's 500 votes short it's not going to matter. If he gets the most votes he's the nominee or he's taking his ball and going home (third party run). And when he does that the GOP has no shot at the White House or anything else this election season.

They've jailbroken the party now and they think their time has come: everybody they've ever met at home, school, work and church have the same batsh-t crazy bigotries and they think the country will rise up against 8 gay feminist black college professors who have held them all down.
They're about to find out they are at most 30% of the population, their day is gone, and they are one generation from electoral irrelevancy and maybe three generations from actual extinction.

but what you and rover ain't realizing is that a lot of these types ain't been voting. spanish speaking W didn't get them going. mccain didn't excite them. the moron certainly didn't either.
only hope is the usual R voters stay home. maybe they do if they think tD is hilly-lite. but maybe they figure tD WILL protect the SCOTUS.

They also have no understanding regarding the convention or that a Primary is not a coronation. It is the equivalent to listening to antivaxers argue that research and meta-analysis of the same does not count.
People scare me. Color me an elitist but I truly had no idea how many ignorant, uneducated, stupid people there could be. If just one person who was in favor of the coronation could have been articulate and put an intelligent sentence together I would have been less scared. There was a time you were supposed to be proud of being educated and informed. That is out of vogue now.
