Guns don't kill people, bullets kill people. Why regulate guns when regulating the sale of ammunition is all you really need to get the truly dangerous element out of people's hands?

then only criminals will have ammunition!!!!

:D

538 has a good graphic (right pane) summarizing the Senate races. As of now it looks like the Dems are outperforming the 538 predictions by about 2 points. Not enough for the Senate, but maybe enough to turn some Govs.

Note to Scott: We don't have a senate seat for you to run for here in Maine. Try Rhode Island. Maybe you can talk about your love of quahogs.

He can try Vermont too. Gotta get that damm Socialist outta there.

Re: Campaign 2014: The Epic Struggle To Win The Senate And Change Nothing

Saw this on Twitter:

"Scott Brown becomes first person in US history to lose Senate races to two different women."

Re: Campaign 2014: The Epic Struggle To Win The Senate And Change Nothing

It begins.

Rand Paul on FNC says this election was a "referendum not only on the president, but on Hillary Clinton"

All sorts of contradictory stuff going on within the same states. Dems scoring pickups in GA House seats while Nunn's getting blown out. CO Sen breaking even farther away from Udall while Hickenlooper outperforms his own internal polling. VA Senate unexpectedly tight while VA House seats are tending to break more towards Dems. Bizarro-world.

I love election night. This is the time when voting is almost as much fun as hockey.

Looks like Carter is getting blown out too.

Meanwhile, Maryland governor is looking interesting. Most of the counties are going for Hogan (R), but the big 3 population centers of Montgomery, Prince Georges and Baltimore City will go heavily Brown (D). Baltimore County will be key as well as how many votes Hogan can garner out of Montgomery.

Re: Campaign 2014: The Epic Struggle To Win The Senate And Change Nothing

Detroit Free Press called the Michigan governor's race for Snyder about 35 minutes ago. Repub hold there.

Both Detroit papers call the Michigan Senate race for Peters. Dem hold there.

Louisiana Senate headed to run-off on 12/6.

Re: Campaign 2014: The Epic Struggle To Win The Senate And Change Nothing

Mike Michaud won the Ebola-ravaged town of Fort Kent.

Voters in South Portland have legalized recreational marijuana, but voters in Lewiston quickly killed the buzz at the victory party.

DC looks like they'll be on a high too. Wonder if Congre$$ will override (as if they don't have better things to do).

Peters not only won, but it looks like he will be wiping the floor with TLL. Of course, we're only at 32% reporting, not sure who hasn't reported yet. If the west side of the state is still counting, she'll make some of that up yet.

This was the other race where I wrote-in NOTA.
