Cafe Get Togethers In Person

Agreed. Pizza was fantastic. My brother lived in Blaine for awhile, and then my future-wife went to college in St. Paul, so I used to make a lot of trips down to the Cities. My brother and I would get standing room only tickets (could never seem to find actual seats back then), and make a stop at Campus Pizza before the game. Great, great pizza. I've had some pizza that has equaled it, but nothing better.

Someday my balls will drop and I'll get enough courage to ask for the dough and sauce recipes

The college fan experience that I fell in love with, that we who remain on USCHO know and reminisce about, has changed over the years and isn't how we remember it.

Agreed. Much has changed just since 2015 or so that I think is generational in nature. Several of the more PG-13 and R-rated taunts we used to employ have been retired due to a combination of respect for officials, consideration of other people's emotions, and admin concerns about creating a welcoming atmosphere for families. While it is likely for the best, the current college hockey fan experience is definitely not the same as you and I remember it.

Are the UAs officially ex-parrots? Don't you guys have some billionaire oil as-shole like the NoDak Nazi to save them?
Oil companies do almost nothing here, especially since BP sold their Alaska assets. Even plenty of the workers don’t live here.

UAA is dead unless they finish raising $3 million by August.

UAF intends to keep playing but frankly I don’t how long their athletic department can survive let alone hockey.
