Re: Business, Economics & Tax Policy 7: Workers of the world unite!

I want to be a police officer, daddy! Fine son, here's a Glock.

No kid knows what he or she wants. They're copycats.

Even moreso with the most complex question of the existence and nature of God. Kids believe what their families and the church tell them to believe, even while they are reciting creeds without the slightest understanding of what they are saying.

Catholics anyway. :D

For the most part, kids emulate their parents, yes. Some rebel (I was one, particularly in religion; I didn't know why at the time, I know now).

There are exceptions, and it's the parents' responsibility to figure out why, and guide the path. Do not decide the path.

After raising three to adulthood, I'm not sure what that parents' job is, except to listen to them, love them, and enjoy them.

You nailed it. You are raising an individual. You can't FORCE them to do anything, if you want to be a good parent. You can only provide them with what you have learned, guide them, and hope they turn out alright.

Classy guy, that Elon Musk:

Sorry pedo guy, you really did ask for it.</p>— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) <a href="https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1018497953051258880?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">July 15, 2018</a></blockquote>

He's doubling down on it, too:

What the **** is wrong with him?

He’s going to find himself getting Kalanicked. Honestly, that would probably be best for Tesla. Let fragile little Elon focus on building flamethrowers while the adults run the real businesses.

I can’t believe people believed in this guy.

Elon is strong in ideas, horrible in PR/execution.

He's Trump, if Trump had graduated from a STEM program.

Re: Business, Economics & Tax Policy 7: Workers of the world unite!

His ideas about vehicles, fuel stuff, it is genius. He just effs everything up when he opens his mouth.

Uh, not really. None of what he’s done is truly revolutionary. He’s just been able to get money from people with money.

He's Trump, if Trump had graduated from a STEM program.

Exactly. He doesn’t strike me as being that bright. He’s the opposite of Zuckerberg. Where Zuck has been able to transform into a CEO, Elon acts like he’s 12.

Re: Business, Economics & Tax Policy 7: Workers of the world unite!

Zuckerberg is evil, but he's quiet, smart evil. He lawyers his opponents to death.

Elon is the cartoon villain who would build some overly slow, complex death machine, then circle monologue and taunt the hero long enough for him to find a way out of it.

Don't post that when I am mid-drink! You owe me a new screen!

Re: Business, Economics & Tax Policy 7: Workers of the world unite!

Ha, chickensh*t deleted the Tweets. His lawyers must've knocked some sense into him.
