I think it'll be the IMF. instead of being dollars buying troubled assets, it'll be SDRs. Imagine going to the farmers market and asking how many SDRs a few tomatos cost..
And to echo another point someone else made - while my tax benefits go up a little every month, my insurance premiums went up 15% along with everyone elses for 2018. I ended up having surgery last month and paying my max out of pocket ( 5,000), plus the 2700 for the year. So the little I save on my taxes, i more than lose due to our horrible healthcare oligopoly.
And fun fact #2, at an in network hospital they used 2 out of network surgeons. cost, 14k - after my 5k out of pocket . This would bring my total yearly cost to get sick to 21,700$ WITH insurance. Note that I am fighting this so i might not pay that much.
News flash government, a few extra dollars on taxes doesn't make up for this. not in thousands of years. But as long as these corrupted entities continue to funnel money into elections, they will rig the market and basically transfer all our wealth to them. I really feel bad for people who get sick often and have no recourse for these types of bills.
Oh and here is the kicker - my friend in Germany pays 21% more on her monthly insurance than me - 280 vs about 360 biweekly. Give or take. The thought of a 21,000$ bill is simply laughable to them. Yet people here defend our system with vigor? Why? Are people insane?
