Criminals hate cops.

The CFPB protects us against crimes by the people who have bribed the government. The bribery is pretty bad in the Dem caucus, but it's off the charts among Republicans -- it's basically their Mission Statement.

Now I'm confused. I could have swore you were telling me last year that no big progressive victories happening when Obama was Prez, including Dodd-Frank. Weren't you consulting with some economist friend of yours about that? Now the CFPB did have teeth before we handed complete control of the govt over to the Republicans? What gives?

FEMA and CDC were supported by Obama as well. Obama also wasn't planning new nukes and wasn't telling everyone he's shipping more people to Gitmo. But, you're right, he didn't do anything worthy of supporting him during the 2016 election.

I find it funny that the left is all of a sudden now promoting secession. Wasn't it the other way around a few years ago?

I hate hippies as much as Tom Lehrer, but to be fair that entire song is so prescient for what the Democrats are going through right now it's scary. 2018 is the new 1964.

I never cared about Bernie as a man, I cared about his economic philosophy and his policy ideas. That's something all your "hurr hurr burnout" dumbas-sery never got.

In the “old days,” when good news was reported, the Stock Market would go up. Today, when good news is reported, the Stock Market goes down. Big mistake, and we have so much good (great) news about the economy!

It's just another way of people saying stupid things like moving to Canada, and then they learn how hard it is to become a naturalized citizen (they are tougher than the US!), and backpedal. :p
