I don’t know if this shouldn’t here or the Gaza thread, but I’m sure st clown is gonna enjoy this

The people sending money to Gaza are all going to end up being convicted of money laundering at best and given who’s in the White House, the other end of that stick is really, really, really bad.

They must be labeling these transfers as “layering,” in attempt to avoid anti-money laundering auto-reviews. Given the current chumps in charge, they’re going to keep lowering that hold-for-review/block value for wires going to both Gaza, specifically, and Israel as a whole. The normal threshold is $10k, but if a bank notices trends, they’re required to act on those, too, canceling suspicious transfers and sending info to the Feds.

So apparently we rolled back the tariffs on China a couple weeks ago because we were just so darn concerned that we had hurt them too darn much and we wanted to be nice.
