This is a double whammy because of the cost of the medication afterwards. It's so bad out there, rumor has it Flag's mom had to raise the price of her services for the first time in years.
Drew is reeling off prepackaged talking points created by Cato and Heritage and transcribed directly from Hate Radio. Either (1) he is not arguing in good faith, in which case don't feed him, or (2) he actually believes that corporate propaganda, in which case why bother?oh fuck off.
imagine thinking victims of malpractice are the real victims here
We just had our go-round with BCBS last year. They wanted to pay us ~60% market rate, despite being a tertiary care facility with better outcomes with more complex patients. It’s my specific situation that is getting to me. BCBS is non profit. And they want more for themselves. No idea how that adds up.
I understand why single payer could be bad, though.
Universal care where more of our money goes to health care will fix a lot, regardless of single v multi payer. Seeing a public university hospital system argue with a non profit company where the patients are the real losers just confirms that to me.
hey, i didnt need to call my maga aunt a fat cunt, but dammm it felt greatDrew is reeling off prepackaged talking points created by Cato and Heritage and transcribed directly from Hate Radio. Every erg of energy spent engaging with them is one fewer you have to spend doing real work to change things. Do not exhaust yourself on sea lions or lost causes. They are literally not worth your time.
That's an interesting detail. They really are trying to make them look like the good guys. Which isn't going to work for patients since none of them have any relationship with the insurance company. They will all side with the people helping them in person. We just had our go-round with BCBS last year. They wanted to pay us ~60% market rate, despite being a tertiary care facility with better outcomes with more complex patients.
Most insurance can die in a fire but I have a special place for BCBS and United (and a niche version of Illinois Medicaid) in hell for what they put us through to get patients evidence based care. I have a 100% rate of success arguing for outpatient care through peer to peer, which only can mean they deny care with hopes the physician is too busy to fight.
That's actually a lot more complicated than it sounds.shocking that Whitmer is backing the Michigan lawmakers proposal to ban chinese evs
just let flock and palantir get our data while sticking us with your shitty detroit made slop, because you dont want to innovate or adapt
oh i expect her to do it. I just think she sucksThat's actually a lot more complicated than it sounds.
Some of the claims that the Chinese EV maker are making sure seem impossible. Like they claim to be able to pump 100% brand new cars out in 3 years, when the entire industry takes 5 to do that (and yes, that includes Toyota, Honda, Kia, VW, etc). And none of them are cutting corners, they are doing it as fast as they can to make the cars the quality people want. And the cost that they are selling at don't make any sense, too- again, none of the entire industry can do that. Something seems really fishy and non competitive.
This is hardly just about Detroit. But she does need to make sure that things are fair to sell. Just like any free market economist. Especially protecting the Unions.
I appreciate that you think you know that the rest of the world (not just Detroit) is wrongly not moving 100% EV like China is.oh i expect her to do it. I just think she sucks
one, yes, i think everyone knows the chinese are subsidizing the costs. However, I just don't care. Ford and others may have unions, but they've chosen to not embrace where the world is going. they've chosen stock buybacks many times. while continuing to pander to the orange man and his petrol buddies
as someone whose industry has been gutted by the people the state of michigan so happily voted for, boo hoo.
Did I say you were wrong? Or just explain why I don't see multi payer being the best solution? And gave reasons why. I think you reasons that multi are fine and valid, too.i don't think Toyota is making the right decision, but we will find out eventually.
and you appreciate that I think I know? you're the dude who is also a healthcare delivery and finance expert, is there anything you aren't an expert on lol. have you been consulted on the hantavirus yet??
but, I am allowed to have an opinion, even if you insist I'm always wrong.
I had an issue with your little "its cute you think you know everything" bs line, cause I didnt get snippy at you when you tried to lecture me on my industry.Did I say you were wrong? Or just explain why I don't see multi payer being the best solution? And gave reasons why. I think you reasons that multi are fine and valid, too.
Yes, you are allowed to have an opinion. And I'm pointing out why it's not just a Detroit thing and asking why Whitmer is unliked. Forgive me for not wanting to see my industry die because China wants to dump cars here on their worker's dime. This isn't a US automaker issue. You have a beef with everyone in the world who makes cars. Which is fine.
President Donald Trump’s plan to put weapons in space — pitched as a “Golden Dome for America” missile defense program — is estimated to cost $1.2 trillion over a 20-year period, according to a new analysis from the Congressional Budget Office, a far heftier sum than the initial $175 billion price tag he gave last year.
"But how will you pay for it?"
"We're going to build a space wall and E.T. will pay for it"It’s in space - the aliens will pay for it!
