Business, Economics, and Tax Policy 8: Bezos Takes Over the World

Re: Business, Economics, and Tax Policy 8: Bezos Takes Over the World

Oh look, a food truck on a boat, with awful hipster pizza that probably runs $20/pie.

Sweet Home Indiana (sausage, corn, white sauce, and arugula)

The Blumin Onion (made with lemon aioli instead of tomato sauce; leeks, radicchio, blue cheese, and honey)

Rasta Mon (red curry coconut sauce, flaked coconut, snap peas, red bell peppers, and fresh mango)

Kill me if I ever have to eat any of that crap.

One day a customer arrived holding a 7-pound lobster she’d caught earlier in the day. “Can I just trade this for a pizza?”

WHO THE FCK GIVES UP A 7-POUND LOBSTER FOR SH*TTY HIPSTER PIZZA?!

Am I jealous? Sure, a little. That they've fleeced people into thinking this is good. I would kill myself if I ever served someone "pizza" with corn, coconut, or mango on it.

Lol. Speaking of pizza nazis...

Let me guess, you flip your lid at pineapple on pizzas?

:p

Re: Business, Economics, and Tax Policy 8: Bezos Takes Over the World

I love pineapple on pizzas.

Pineapple, sausage, black olives. Sweet, savory, salty. You’re welcome.

Re: Business, Economics, and Tax Policy 8: Bezos Takes Over the World

Black olives? With the tinny flavor from the can? At least grow up and graduate to green or kalamata. ;)

Re: Business, Economics, and Tax Policy 8: Bezos Takes Over the World

Pineapple and Canadian Bacon. And sometimes actual bacon with it.

The one I love most, but never really have too often is an italian beef pizza with hot giardiniera on it.

*edit* Philly style is good too. Shredded beef, mushrooms, green peppers.

Re: Business, Economics, and Tax Policy 8: Bezos Takes Over the World

That, I would eat. Especially if it wasn't piled into a cornbread bowl.
Chicago deep dish? Oh hell naw. That's lasagna with crust. The Italian Beef style goes best on a thin crust. Hand tossed at most.

Re: Business, Economics, and Tax Policy 8: Bezos Takes Over the World

It’s pizza you pretentious knob.

;) :p

It's not pretentious to hate black olives. They are tinny, relatively bland, useless garbage, for people who hate good flavor.

One of my favorite pizza topping combos is green (or kalamata) olives and anchovies. If you were really into salt, you'd be all over better, "manlier" olives (not to mention the anchovies). :p

Re: Business, Economics, and Tax Policy 8: Bezos Takes Over the World

Christ dx, even Chicago doesn't put pinneapple on their lasagna (at least to my knowledge).

Re: Business, Economics, and Tax Policy 8: Bezos Takes Over the World

One of the best "hipster" pizzas I ever had was in (of all places) North Charleston, SC. IIRC, it was ham, sauerkraut, chili flakes, garlic, and a garam masala/curry powder cream-based sauce with a heavy emphasis on the cumin. Everything just melted together perfectly, and there was none of that fruit nonsense to speak of.

You're buying the wrong black olives. They come in jars, too.

Re: Business, Economics, and Tax Policy 8: Bezos Takes Over the World

All's I know is the olives in those awesome Wegman's displays with all the different spices and brinings and flavors are always green.

I assumed they just soaked up the juices better. The black olives I have had tasted like eraser. The green olives taste like a little oliveness plus whatever they're put next to, and it's great.

Victoria's Secret hired its first transgender model, and predictably, right wing Christians are losing their ****.

However, I know when right wing Christians lose their **** and threaten boycott, sales go through the roof.

Re: Business, Economics, and Tax Policy 8: Bezos Takes Over the World

How is Victoria’s Secret even a thing still
