The team was presented the Hockey East Regular Season Championship Trophy today at practice.

I didn't see him there. I thought maybe they didn't give to the team because they weren't at Agganis.

I loved when the pens won the cup they didn't bother bringing that thing out there and waited until the guys flew back home :rolleyes:

BU staff didn't want to do the presentation at Matthews. Probably were worried doing something like that at an away rink would've given York an aneurysm.

Has BU ever had the RS trophy presented on ice? I know Maine has, as I was there in 1993 when they had to delay it a day :D, but I don't recall ever seeing BU have one.

It was presented on the ice after the final regular season game in 2009.

If BU wins the Hockey East Tournament they will, with 100% certainty:
1. Have a 3rd trophy for this season.
2. Be a 1 or 2 seed in the NCAAs
3. Play in either Providence or Manchester for the regionals.

Root for teams you think BU can beat in the HE Tournament.

Root against all teams ahead of BU in PWR.
Root for BC. BU jumps back to a 1 seed. BC stays at 2 or 3 seed... same regional. Awesome! :)
