BU season thread I - 2014-2015

Is this more or less hypocritical than when he whined that BU stick saluted the away fans at Conte, after he made his team do the same in Wisconsin? Discuss ;)

Conte equivalent would have been kohl center not bradley center in milwaukee, technically a neutral site. You can disagree with york having a problem with it but cut the hypocritical bullcrap.

Ahhh, a nod to the old days when JP vs. JY firefights were a staple of USCHO. Throwback Saturday, or perhaps, Throwdown Saturday. Sterlippo is too nice a guy to really participate in one of these battles, though. For maximum effect, we need Nick or Carmine.

hahahhaa, this is true and thanks buoldtimer . Good to hear the tickets are going fast(er) at Agganis.

Yep, York was embarrassed that he didn't make it happen but Parker did.

How great was THAT read!!? BU-BC hate. Jack and Jerry feuding. Gionta with a dirty hit and Parker looking for blood. WJ Plane-gate. Freddy Meyer is a hack. Shod-foot Sabo. Clemmensieve. Jason Tapp! #BrimingOverWithAwesome.

Sold out tonight? What? Is that 'cause of the 10th anniversary of HAA? It will be interesting to see the team sans #9.

Re: BU season thread I - 2014-2015

I remember being at the Whitt and seeing Tom Poti show up part way through the game after the WJCs. That was the one where Mike Sylvia won it in OT.

Yup. I was there, too.

I'd like to see Eichel tonight, but it's better that he sit. The Juniors had to be exhausting, especially emotionally. And not a bad thing if the team seizes the chance to demonstrate it's not a one-man show.

Are we going to see Olsson and/or Baillargeon?

in that bailergerreeon / ollson tweet i also read that ahti was 50/50. has that tilted one way or the other?

Appears to be a yes. All the more reason for Eichel to sit. In the long run, these few days of rest will do him well, especially in February and March.
"In the long run, we're all dead" -JM Keynes. In the short term, BU would benefit from a "W". He has all week to rest.

Wouldn't he be playing a semi-final game tonight if they had beat Russia?

But they didn't beat Russia!

Shocked the game sold as many tickets! Actually not sold out. They are now selling general admission.... I assume that's the student sections.

Re: BU season thread I - 2014-2015

that right there is THE key. AJ has got to step up and play like the heralded freshman that was talked about before the season.
