Agganis was right...maybe you missed what Cox (CollegeHockeyreporter or whatever his screen name) said...I would think someone that wants to call themselves an expert in college hockey like Jeff would know the rule

He pointed out that what I said was incorrect, and it was. He also gave a scenario with two "ifs" in it.
If BU is down 3-0, a different goalie comes in and BU ties it up and than loses the game, yes, that goalie would get the loss. He was talking about that specific example, what part of the two sentences are ambiguous to you?

BU would not have had to tie or take the lead for lacouvee to get the loss.

I really don't like the USA's chances. Our goalies better stand on their heads. I wonder is McDavid would get asked to play? To bad he is still in the OHL playoffs. He already has 36 points in 13 playoff games.
