Re: BU season thread 4 - 2014-15 // destiny's children

1- Eichel. Unfinished business? Prolly not, but what if?

2- BU was so good in the third BECAUSE they were relentless. They were on their heels in that third. Same with the UND game, but escaped by the skin of their teeth, the better.

3- if you were listening to ESPN, apparently Moccia was telling O'Connor "I love you. We love you" after PC took the lead. He's a class act in my book.

This is going to take awhile to get over. No words.

Re: BU season thread 4 - 2014-15 // destiny's children

The way that ended I can't imagine anyone on that team will ever think "what a special season" that was. Not the way that just happened

Re: BU season thread 4 - 2014-15 // destiny's children

I thought for sure OC was going to be named MOP. Too soon?

Why was BU so passive in the 3rd period? No o-zone at all. They were in trouble before O'C's gaffe. One man's opinion.

Re: BU season thread 4 - 2014-15 // destiny's children

The weird part was that BU did the same thing Thursday night. It's a 180 from the BU team we know.

Have to believe the coaches weren't telling them to be more aggressive during the many TV timeouts. But they rarely responded. A 5-2 loss would've been easier to stomach than this.

And not that it affects the outcome, but could Melrose have rooted harder for PC. Literally laughing when a BU attempt failed. Not too professional.

Absolutely devastated the first 10mins or so and probably still not completely over it but for now, just want to thank the team for what was otherwise a great season and congrats to the Friars.

What would he be doing for a living if he hadn't ridden Gretzky to 1993 SC Finals? He's lived off that for 20 years.

Yep, they were sitting back more than I would have liked, but this is all on OC. absolutely demoralizing.

That Barry Melrose is an utter farce to his "profession" is really a surprise to no one here in the forum.

Man that was tough. Hats off to PC for really taking it to us in the 3rd.

You folks saying the whole thing is on one player, you don't know sh*t. Take it somewhere else.

I dont care if Melrose was rooting for PC or laughing at BU the teams composure in the last 10 mins of the last two game was laughable and surprising. Teams youth realty shone through . As for OC sadly for him overseas may be his only shot.

Re: BU season thread 4 - 2014-15 // destiny's children

Yep. One of my sports commandments is to never blame one player for a loss and I just broke it. My bad. Just such an absolutely epic gag job. I feel horrible for him.

Re: BU season thread 4 - 2014-15 // destiny's children

Never underestimate the power of the Holy Sprit.. Jesus made some saves for PC tonight and let a few trickle in on BU. Lord have mercy! In all truth, the BU goalie sucked tonight, in fact the reality is he has let in ****ters all season and Rodriguiez and Jack have picked him up..but not tonight!
