Good luck Terriers fans. Hopefully it will be a great game regardless of how poorly it's going to turn out for your team at the end. :p

Seriously, best of luck and I think it's going to be a great night of hockey!

Right back at ya!

Either way, someone with my last name will be very happy tonight.

Not in who should get it. I had a little doubt on whether Eichel would get it after Vesey won the Walter Brown Award over Eichel. I was wondering if being a freshman was going to hurt Eichel's chances.
The New England Hockey Writers Association, which also states who actually votes, voted Eichal MVP, so it seems that the Walter Brown Award voters are the outliers (and from a few articles I've read it seems that the Gridiron Club was doing trying to do some damage control). Of course the NEHWA voted Vesey as the most improved player over Rodrigues, so flame away! ;)

So, who--back in September--honestly believed that BU would be playing hockey on April 11?
The preseason USCHO poll had BU ranked #20. Providence was #3 with two first-place votes. (Minn. #1, NoDak#2)

PC was the pick of HE coaches to win the conference title; BU was #6.

6 months ago, my expectations for this season were 20+ wins, Beanpot title, top 4 in HE, make it to the Garden for HE, and make the NCAAs. Whatever happens tonight, I think we can agree it's been quite a season.

But expectations rise with the tide...

Walking around the cherry blossom festival in DC today felt a lot like walking around town in 2009. Just hoping tonight fees the same too.

I had never seen someone lose a couple million dollars before in a blink of an eye

Unreal. Monumental game. Incredible season for them this year considering where they were expected to end up at the start of the season. PC turned it on in the playoffs and Gillies was a monster in the net. Tough to break through that sort of thing.
