BU Hockey '25-'26: Can we keep up the run to Vegas?

I believe if you challenge a no call the refs can only assess a major. Even if they see it as a minor can't call during review
My take was that pando issued the challenge just so the refs would see it was a blatant penalty that they missed. Not that he expected to get the major.

Like he was really fired up and the ref said something like, “are you going to challenge or not”

Instead of whining at the refs, Pando needs to teach his guys how to play tough. Regardless of the score, BU looks like timid pond hockey players. Diving, instead of fighting through checks, turning towards the boards (Celebrini) when about to get hit, not taking a hit to make a play, etc. They ain’t winning anything playing as soft as they are, besides, maybe a lead game in October.

For fun I switched the result of last night’s game to BU winning against UConn (instead of being destroyed) and it moves BU from 19 to 5. Still clearly lots of variability in the early season
Hard to tell anything from this right now. Most of the non-conference games will need to play out and more total games need to be played. Those who have examined its results compared to last year, didn’t find much difference when it was all said and done in picking the field. I think there were some seeding differences however. Check it at the end of December.

Dam witches done stole all the brooms up here so dont be looking for us to sweep nothin. I mean nothin !

Good win on the road. Still not the sharpest, but UConn is a difficult team to play against. We didn’t take advantage of the odd man rushes and breakaways- when you get 2 or 3, need to have at least 1 of those. Taking advantage of the limited power play opportunities was obviously key. Sure hope the Eiserman situation is not serious.

Maine should be interesting. I guess they haven’t been playing to their potential either to start the season.
