This game has been in the works for a long while, and the hurdle for it being announced has been whether TSU's program would get off the ground this year from a $$ standpoint. TSU wants the connection to BU, MLK's alma mater, as part of it being the first HBCU D1 hockey program. If this game is indeed finalized, BU will have games in three NHL arenas next season: Bridgestone (NSH), MSG and TD Garden.
