BU Hockey '24-'25: Reloaded for another Frozen Four run

Ok so I was catching what I could of the game as I was traveling from DC to Worcester for a conference. I'm sitting there in Logan watching that crazy second period and thinking "Dang the good BU and bad BU showed up TOGETHER. This is weird." The folks I was meeting arrived so we made our way and got in an uber and I checked in again and WTF, we're up 6-3 not down 4-3? Ok then!

The bad penalties still drive me insane. But this felt like the Beanpot game with BC, get run over for a period then come out playing great somehow.

And what's this I'm seeing? We get RHH for a trip to the frozen four? Not discounting Cornell, or this BU team's ability to shoot itself in the foot, but I was fully ready to bemoan a 1 and done result this year, I'll take this and reignite my hope that they can live up to the thread title.
 
Game is officially at 4:00pm tomorrow. No idea what to expect or which BU team will show up - the one from the first period or the one from the third.

Wish we were facing Michigan State since more of a motivational factor . Very concerned about how hot this disciplined Cornell team is and they are out to avenge us knocking them out of the tournament in the past!

Agreed, plus they have the keep it going for Schafer motivation.
 
well they obviously need to step up and play. but mookie really wants to see four hea teams in St. Louis and this will be the first step.
 
This is from a Harvard fan. Please beat the snot out of Cornell today. Run it up as much as you can. I'm not a fan of Pandolfo after what he did to us in the Beanpot, but I hate Cornell and Schaefer even more.
 
This is always a tough program to play against. Heavy and good goaltending. They have motivation. Need everyone to step up for 60 minutes. I think we’re due for good start. Couldn’t have predicted this a month ago. One game against Cornell to go to the Frozen Four?

Same kind of formula (without the bad start) - Cole Hutson drives. One thing - all of our goals were snipes. Got to try to get more pucks to the net from everywhere and get some dirty goals as well. A goaltender who is on is not giving up most of what we scored the other day.

And there's the first stupid penalty for Kaplan, undoing 2 of the 3 minute advantage for the second period.
Why Jay doesn't get rid of him, I will never know. He's done this his entire career. Addition by subtraction.

Seriously, way to lessen this huge opportunity for us. He is such a selfish player.
