BU at PC, Fri Jan 15

Re: BU at PC, Fri Jan 15

Game is on NESN Save your money watch it there!

Nice, I didn't realize that. Now I just need to find a bar with NESN... (Fairfield County CT doesn't get it on cable, which sucks), and try to ignore the glares and strange looks when I ask them to turn on college hockey...

any bar that advertises sunday ticket has directv. nesn is 628.

BU opened the season at home vs uhn couple years ago and i was in san diego. after playing golf at torrey pines once my conference let out, i found a bar and ask them to turn on the specific channel. they told me they didn't get it. i told them to press "these three numbers" please and that i would be there for the duration and spend money happily.

they did, and i did.

now that crowd gave me some strange looks. especially when people would come in during a commercial and see a nice empty table under a tv and think how lucky they were...:D

I sense a lot of excitement about this game. ;) Unfortunately I won't be there to say hello to my many BU friends. Maybe BU2K will yell "Fire Army" for us as he was so helpful in the "Fire Pooley" movement.

One down. :(

Has Scarlet recovered enough to make the trip or will it be a game time decision? Hope all is well. :)

Please feel free to stop by lower M Row AA, on the glass. The stud with the goatee is very friendly and grew up on BU hockey! :p

Looking forward to seeing all you, even you Section E'ers.

Aw, come on!!!! I wouldn't head out to an away game that is televised while in the midst of a sinus infection (among other ailments) for any other school but PC so I can see my PC friends and you're not even gonna be there??? I'm bummed. And will have to suffer with the other members of your gang. :( :p

While I knew the game was on NESN, it totally escaped me that it was at 7:30. This is good because it will allow for extra time to head down there, but bad because my mid-afternoon exhaustion is already kicking in and it just means it will be that much longer before I get home to go to sleep. You'd think a half hour wouldn't make that much of a difference but it kinda does.

You will be missed.

Its TV for me again this weekend NESN and Cox 3 on sat but the run continues to 100

There might be more BU fans there tonight than PC fans. Especially since some think PC91 is from BC. :p

If I was going, I might even had worn my BU National Champs T-shirt. ;)

Re: BU at PC, Fri Jan 15

Oh come on now!!!

What the puck??? Glad to read that our BU friends will be there but disappointed in my fellow Friars fans.

The Race to 100 will have to go on without you!!!

No dedication to the process folks. I'm NOT pleased!

I was enjoying Clery's but still managed to pull myself away from the bar in order to play good host to our Terrier friends.

Jon best be on his way. You don't want me being the point person on the welcoming committee. Do you??? :p

BTW Scarlet was VERY fresh. Don't think that we didn't notice. ;)

My fandom goes back to the days four Olympians followed by the days of my favorite d-man George Klapes (who used to have to cover a lot of ice because Jerry August used to wander too much for my liking).

I still have George's stick hanging above the door to my old bedroom from the Beanpot. His mom was VERY nice to me and our crew of young houligans who roamed Walter Brown rooting for our Terriers. :D

When you saw the "Ellis the Rim Man" sign you knew that more good times were about to begin.

Re: BU at PC, Fri Jan 15

Just asking for opinion, which venue is more difficult to reach on a Friday night from Boston, UNH (during ski season) or PC?
