BU 2017 Season Thread III: Terriers falling (into the off season)

Correct- Like Phelps who replaced Curry on third line for more responsible defense- face off losses killed us yesterday
Assume game will start on ESPNews as MInn-ND game will not be over and has extra time possibilities

Yes clearly it was Curry who was the problem defensively on that unit...good god...Bellows does nothing but turn over pucks and loaf after he does it..Cloonan was a fly by the entire game...great coaching adjustment...I'm changing my opinion Pickett...I think the Terriers beating Vermont Yale and Union had more to do with Bellows being in the stands than Switzer and Diffley playing

Notre Dame just dumped the goofers. So we're on the U now.

Whoo first time for a first goal in awhile.

Next year there's gotta be a way to delay the radio feed for 10 to 15 seconds to sync Bernie with the TV feed.

Can't believe Minnesota lost, or Arrogate's performance in Dubai today.

Crazy empty arena as compared to last night. (For obvious reasons)

Re: BU 2017 Season Thread III: Terriers falling (into the off season)

Signs don't look good for a win after the best start they have had in weeks. Stupid turnover by McAvoy with 20 seconds left in the period then 3 BU skaters standing still. Got to play all 20. Don't want to feed the trolls but that play was so unacceptable and unnecessary. UMD going to grind BU into oblivion now I have a feeling

Another second period taken off . . .

Though not as badly as some recent games.

disagree

he tried to create an opportunity. as a team it is the responsibility of a fwd to cycle back and cover. on top of that jake got too far out away from the post.

unfortunate, but there were a lot of pieces there. and the duluth guy had a good goal.

when bu scores are they all mistakes by the opponent? or good plays?

Yeah, I think jake got his stick stuck in the net, from the outside on the far side and didn't drop it quickly enough to get back over. I think JFK should have four goals in this game so far.

That point of the period get the puck deep and close out with the lead and yes Jake looked slow on that one

For the first 10 minutes they looked like a legit tournament team but JFK and Greenway couldn't bury the opportunities and now this

Well they're dead tired, Duluth is much older, stronger, more physical. I hope our guys will stick around and develop and we can say the same about BU in the next few years.

Re: BU 2017 Season Thread III: Terriers falling (into the off season)

Hard to argue for that when you see a guy you beat last night score his first NHL goal today.
