Re: BU 2017 Season Thread II: Terriers rising

Hey BB, just a quick note... read something on BY that I believe was not correct regarding Tage Thompson and ELCs. I believe he will not burn a year on the ELC by playing in the AHL this year based on his age and the slide-rule information I'm reading.

For your sanity, steer clear of that hockey board.

Does his ELC clock not begin by playing in the AHL? I was always under the impression that it did.

Nice win, but at a cost. What happened to Bobo?

Re: BU 2017 Season Thread II: Terriers rising

We'll take the W. Nice comeback. Finishing them off won't be easy, but hopefully we'll see the Terriers that we saw for the last two periods. I thought Krys looked good, among others.

Jamie Koharski is the ****tiest ref on the planet. He's worse at reffing than Quinn is at coaching.

mookie is still awaiting the "have another doughnut you fat pig" from the student section :(

of course the hopes are not high.

I knew what you meant. I was just about to ask if he was related to Don Koharski. :D (of course, no students of today would know that)

Sounds like a separated shoulder.

Honestly, I hope it's just that compared to some of the things I'd heard about it being a collarbone. Separated shoulder means he has a shot at returning, collarbone is see ya in October.

I'm guessing if he was standing there watching it wouldn't be a collarbone. I hope I'm right.

Re: BU 2017 Season Thread II: Terriers rising

I know nothing about how either injury works so I hope you're right as well!

Well, typically when you say "collarbone" it means broken, which would likely mean he would have been in the hospital. (I know today, thanks to the NFL injury report they just "name" the body part and don't say what the problem is) The only other thing you could do to a collarbone would bruise it and that wouldn't require a sling; thus the speculation that it is a separated shoulder. But I could be totally wrong. There may be torn ligaments. But even then I don't think he would have been standing there. Whatever it is, I just hope it's the "lesser" of the possibilities in severity.
