OK Rover, THAT was an A+ post.

I thought LaCouvee's start vs Harvard wasn't great, although he got better after giving up the third goal. I still Oettinger as the clear #1 and really want to see how he responds to his poor game Saturday and not getting the start vs Harvard.
Sean
Maybe 'not great' but he sure did have a handful of bell ringers, especially in the 2nd period. IMO, during that stretch he kept the game from going decidedly Harvard's way. Also didn't think there was much he could do on either of the first two goals. Even the third, while he certainly could (maybe should) have had it, to me it was more about an appalling lack of commitment from the captain on that particular play. I can't believe Malone was given that much room to operate and get off that shot.

Hee! Thanks for the rep! Touched a nerve, did I J.D.?
So, let me get this straight. Matt O'Connor single handedly blows a national championship and there's a line out the door to give him a hand job after the game out here, but one mid season game vs Harvard and we're calling for the coach's head?okaayyy.....

Who's this we?? Just one malcontent.
Also, if I am David Quinn, I am submitting my resignation out of embarrassment this morning. That power play is the worst ****ing thing I have ever seen. It has gotten worse and worse as the season has progressed. What is the coaching staff doing? How did they allow it to degrade into what we saw last night?
Also, I know he puts up points, but Patrick Harper is not good. He is never in position in the offensive zone when he doesn't have the puck. Every time he brings the puck into the zone, he refuses to get it deep and ends up coughing it up in some lame, awful turnover a few feet inside the blue line. It happened every single time last night. I know for a fact that this one is not on Quinn; Harper just refuses to get it. It is too bad so many others are injured because he deserves to sit for a game or two. Carpenter and Roberto were the two best forwards on the ice last night, it's a shame one of them couldn't be the first star rather than the turnover machine.
Do you not think the power play is embarrassing?
{pretending for a moment you're not completely insane}
Do you mean Bellows?
{no longer pretending}
You're nuts.
Boy, if every coach with a bad November power play submitted his resignation there'd be no one for the writers to get quotes from.
